Recently bought a bran new U.S.A stratocaster it cost me. 1400 euro. being bran new it still has the plastic on the scatch board is there any way to get the damn stuff out from under the screw's with out taking the pickups off because it rots and start's to turn the scratch board brown .Plus it looks terrible. k.?>?

Surely you can unscrew the scratch board without touching the pickups!
