    I want to find a classic Merc for a special occasion . I remember seeing a program on Sky about a Merc SEL . I think it was the first SEL was around the 1960 mark . It had pnuematic seats , doors , boot , Way ahead of its tome .

    I need to know the model and if anyone knows where I han hire one ..

    Theres a company in Finglas called Rorys Mercedes.He a specialist Merc reparir/restorer.Ive seen old Mercs in his place from time to time.Might know someone who has one to hire.
    Again number is in the yellow pages.

    I would be very surprised if you locate a Mercedes Pullman in Ireland. It's a rare model.
    John Lennon (the Beatles) had one of them and it sold for a several million pounds a few years back.

    Classy car all the same !

    roneill , You were correct . Tony canning did indeed have a Pullman there . I actually saw him down in Slane in it two years ago ( But diddnt realise it was Tony I was speaking to ) ...


    Alas he has sold the car on to some one in the UK ...
