    This from the Irish Times-
Woman Has to Re-Mortgage House To Pay Parking Fines

A Cork woman who was forced to use her home as security for a loan, after she clocked up over 200
    parking violations in Cork City.

The total was €5000, however thats not the end of it as there are 23 fresh summons yet to be paid for!

    Mike.

How the f*ck is it possible to clock up that many fines???? You couldn't do it if you tried.

Last year my residential parking disc for Limerick city centre never arrived. It was a month before I managed to get a replacement sent out. The car was parked every day for that month in the middle of Limerick (I wasn't worried about the tickets as the corpo assured me that they'd sort it out after). Managed to get about twenty-five tickets until the disc arrived.

Two hundred parking tickets? That's a neat trick. Like John said, you couldn't do it if you tried (by my trying, it'd take the guts of a year)
