    There was (and probably still is) a site that had the daily+archieved front pages of well-known newspapers as PDFs (text+jpged) images. Free, no registration required.

    Washington Post, New York Times, IHT, Le Monde, The Australian etc.

    Anyone know the URL?

    http://sky.com/news has a daily set of jpegs of the british papers.

    http://slate.msn.com/ does a (not graphic) round-up of the front page coverage of US and international papers.

    you can get the (PDF version) front page of the Irish Indo from their site http://www.independent.ie

    As best I know you can read the top 3 stories from the ireland.com archieve for free.

    buy the full version of Acrobat (not just the reader) and create your own PDF's
