    Do you mean a CDRW or a CDRW/DVD or a CDRW/DVDR ?

Anyway in all cases if you can PC software drivers for the drive it will work in the PC. The Hardware isn't specifice to PC or Mac but the software is. Apple doesn't make theses drives, but in some cases they never released the PC driver software for them.

Find out the manufacturer and model number of the drive and then look for the PC software drivers for it.

I swap hardware between PC's and Mac's all the time.

It's the DVD/CDRW, it came with the machine. I tried to find a manufactures sticker, but there's nothing but barcode stickers.

I'm not sure where I could get the drivers.
