    Hello,
Anyone any idea how I can make a normal jpeg or gif shimmer on a webpage of mine? i.e. sometimes you see water shimmering in pictures..looks good.

    have a look at http://back.to/ab

the script is called lake (go to the scripts section, select the lake script) it has examples of how the settings are used for different effects.

    hope it helps.

ps. there is a javascript version that seems pretty easy to use.

or else try a java applet like the one at www.anfy.com but beware of possible usage issues with it (or non-usage!)
