Anybody watching the awards last night on TV3.

Steven Reid took the young player award while the Duff Man took the Senior Player of the Year award. And Steve Staunton got an honoury award for his services in the green shirt.

One of the talking poits from the shpw was when Trevor Welsh asked Damien Duff where he would be playing next saeson. He replied that he had just signed a new deal with Blackburn and he likes the setup there and that you'll see him there for a few years yet. Now maybe he said it to take the attention off the serious speculation constantly surrounding the player or else he's serious.

He has to say that. If for some reason or another he is still there next season but has gone on record saying he wants to play for United or Liverpool, he goes from being the fans golden boy to being a hate figure fo the fans. I do not think he will be at Blackburn next season. I hope he will be at United but more importantly I really hope Gerard Houllier does not get him, as that could ruin Duffs career.

Great to see Kevin Hunt scooping the award, Crowe has 2 already.

I said a good while ago on here that I heard Duff say himself time and time again that he'll be going nowhere, and I still think its true.
