FTV card vs New Irish sub Card + Box

Found out today that there will be no more card swapping for anyone. I got my new sub card and put it. It went through all the stuff then about 5 hours later put in my ftv card to look at something on ITV but it wasn't working. I tried all the other channels but they didded work. It hit me then that the upgraded software can't run on the old cards. THIS IS DEFINATELY THE END OF CARD SWAPPING. Unless and I haven't tried this yet but if you forced it to upgrade on the ftv card it may return to the old version and you might be able to watch what you want but doing this every time is a bit much. If anyone has any quicker way of getting around this I would be very happy but I doubt it.

    Getting a 2nd, S/H digibox is a nice solution..
You even have different channels at same time.
