Now there's a blast from the past. Remember Max doing the voiceover on the title sequence?.....

"This is my boss, Jonathan Hart, a self-made millionaire. He's quite a guy.

This is Mrs H. She's GOURJUS*. She's one lady who knows how to take care of herself.

By the way, my name's Max. I take care of both of them, which ain't easy, 'cause when they met it was MOURDUR*!"

*I spelt it this way to try and get across the way Max used to pronounce it! :D

Didn't they also used to have a small fluffy dog called Freeway, so called because they found him, well, wandering along the side of a freeway? I think they did, anyway.

I used to fancy blowing up that show every week! Horrid, just horrid.

Lionel Standers accent was er, distinctive....

Thats right. The dog was on 3000 bucks a show, or his owners were anyway...

    Mike.

I think that this series had an effect on Irish women. There is a family down the road from me that the daughters hair and dress sense owe a lot to Hart to Hart.

The plot lines were not very strong in this series. But It was fun viewing.

I think there has been a few reunion shows made after the show itself ceased.

They surely don't make programmes like this anymore.

Funniest was the one where they went down a winding mountain road screaming on a four poster bed. Lucky for them the bed had some sort of technology way ahead of it's time which drove them around the corners, honestly that bed handled better than a formula 1 car, wish my car could corner like that.

I used to love the show, it seemed so ridiculous! You have this perfectly nice couple, but every week someone is trying to kill them. There was a brilliant one where Jennifer was stealing priceless jewellery. Turns out she was being hypnotised!
