Gonna order netsource next week and would like to know is netgear dg 814 suitable for eircoms pppoe and esat pppoa protocols as would like to have option of changing networks in future without buying new modem. Elara has it for about 165 including delivery, is it cheaper elsewhere with delivery (in euros).
net shopping in sterling is a pain, and komplett still have not got any yet . Also, when you pay netsource the domain fee do you still have to fill out domain registration form as Iwould not use it .

Yes, the NetGear DG814 supports PPPoE but PPPoA isn't. For Netsource, you're PPPoE anyway, so it's good to go.

The Netsource package is a business package and I'd expect you'd at least have to specify a domain name. Typically

...or something suitable. Whether or not you use it is your gig, you still gotta pay for it so you may aswell pick something reasonably sensible!
