But if ya really want to go out in Cobh and paint the town red, how about staying in the Commodore Hotel because you can also bogey the night away there. If I'm not mistaken it is one of the only nightclubs in Cobh (somebody will prove me wrong). And you have plenty of pubs to choose from.
