    No it doesnt.
It was human error that awarded Kimmi the win and it was electronic proof that proved it wrong.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have happened if the BAKERSVILLE Digital TV Unit had been in charge of the time-keeping as they were last year. And Brazil was an extraordinary scenario... from a commercial point of view.... the controversy surrounding the win can only be good for Jordan's quest for sponsorship... shame for Fisi though...

The Bakersville compound was never in charge of timing. It was, and has been for some years, Tag Heurer. The theory bandied about the press is that the better coverage from the digital TV setup would have meant that there would have been better coverage available to the stewards to make the decision.

As far as I know Bakersville was in charge of the timing with Tag Heuer as it placed some sort of optical ring around the track that was monitored the position of each car on track at all times. With the demise of digital TV, this was lost. James Allen makes reference to how crucial Bakerville was to the timing screens in his biography of Schumacher "Driven to Extremes" and there were many articles about the compund and it's other-than-TV-coverage in the racing press over the last few years.
