    Boot from the redhat cd and run the recovery section.

    That should help ya get the old install booted.

    Earliest Red Hat I have is 6.2 I'm afraid, so I can't help you. However if you ask on ILUG I'm sure someone will be able to copy and post a bootdisk for you. In fact, you should be able to find one on Google if you have a poke around.

    A few links:

    Bootdisk Image

    Rescue Disk Image

    RaWrite - For converting disk images to actual files on a floopy dis in Windows [MS-DOS]

    RaWrite Documentation - so you're not totally stranded

    I'm assuming you're currently using a Windows machine - hence RaWrite as opposed to FIPS.

    The above only totals about 3MB - and you should only need either the Rescue Disk or the Bootdisk - it depends on if you need to repair the bootloader, or just want to boot the machine up.

    <edit>
    Forgot to mention that these are links directly into ESAT's FTP mirror of the relevant files for the RedHat 6.0 OS as they would have appeared on the CD.
