Saw in when it was on release in the Autumn and posted this on another film site:

Why? That's all I want to know, why? Just because Roberto Rodriguez gets famous for making a movie for $7k evry twat with a video camera thinks he's John ****ing Huston? Idiots, one and all.

While purty on the eye in a b+w indy-pop vid kinda way (music by Go Blimps Go - wouldn't Uneen have only loved this in those No Disco days?) Last Days In Dublin easily contains some of the worst acting committed to film in the whole history of the ever ever. Could someone please explain to the makers that shouting does not make up for a crap script? The lines are still ****e, it's just they're louder ****e. And both Senator Norris and Nell McCaffertys should kill themselves with embarassment, before someone who's seen this film catches up and does it for them.

This is a film I wouldn't even inflict on late-night TG4 audiences and generally I feel they deserve evrything they get, so why the **** is it getting a good showing in the IFC?

If there was any justice in this world the makers of this film would be lined up against a wall and shot. Money from the ticket sales should just about cover the cost of the bullets.
