We're glad to announce the fifteenth episode of the Ballroom of Romance.
Coming live to you from the Lower Deck in Portobello (just behind Portobello College), we bring you the best of new Irish talent.

It's on Friday, 25th April... starts at 9pm... €6 in and free CD-R to the first one hundred in the door.

    Presenting:
    Steerage
Having shed their lead singer since their last Ballroom appearance, Steerage have really developed their sound. Now a three-piece they could be compared to the Redneck Manifesto.

    Halfset
Unquestionably one of the best new acts in town. Halfset produce finely-crafted tunes which would appeal right across the board. Jeff Martin also features in this Dublin/Galway three piece. Definitely check these guys out - you'll be hearing a lot about them down the line.

    Maersk
Labelmates of Herv on Compactrisc records (http://www.compactrisc.net), these guys will be launching their debut E.P. "First Line".

    Mr. Creosote
Limerick-based Mr. Creosote will be paying a visit to the Ballroom to pinch Dublin out of it's slumber.

There'll be more Ballrooms on the way. The 9th May will see us play host to Belfast's DRAT (who feature former members of Watercress). The 20th June will see the Wormholes and Puget Sound among those playing. And the 26th September will see Goodtime John paying us a visit.

Check out http://www.ballroomofromance.com for more details and all that.

    This Spring, keep it romantech.
