I don't know if any of ye have been down to Watrford ever in your life. But if you have I somehow doubt you ever ended up in Preachers. Basically it's always been like an underage disco. Small and set up like your average church hall. How for the life of me have they managed to get the likes of Steve Lawlor playing a 3 hour set in there on Saturday. And not even Steve Lawlor, David Holmes is playing on the easter weekend aswell. What is going on. What is the world coming to. Anyway, I shall tell you all how it went on monday, cos whether I hate the place or not, I ain't gonna miss Steve Lawlor.

Musiklab is the only night id even think of going to in waterford at the moment. Although i havnt even made it down for that in ages.

I get the feeling that its going to get more and more commerical in Waterford as in Dublin. The thing that keeps waterford going is its local talent, Necksnapper, T Bickle etc.

was at the night in Preachers. Was full of dirt actually. I was talking to a lad who knows the promoters. he was telling me that Steve Lawlor actually refused to go up on the decks when he saw the state of the place. Apparently the monitors weren't working properly for the decks and he wouldn't go on until they were fixed. David Holmes didn't even turn up for his set there on Sunday just gone.

David Holmes prob didn't turn up because he wouldn't have gotten much from preachers, he was supposed to play in tivoli on saturday but that was canceled
