Im pretty sure this has come up here and on the ICDG forums before but who uses digiguide ?

Ive had it since xmas and its a pretty genius program. Only costs a fiver after the trial period as well.

Im an awful man for forgetting about programmes on d'tele so i can heartily recommend this to anyone in the same boat.

Use it, couldn't do without it. Well worth the small annual fee.

I use it too. It's just tops! Combined with a TV card, which pops up a tv window when my fave progs start :) it's super :D

    €11.50 a year, it's wellllllll worth it!

    It is what it's.

    WinTV DGAddin
Lets you right click on a channel to open WinTV on that channel.

    C:\Program Files\WinTV\WinTV2K.EXE -nss -p$ChannelID
used as a reminder will automagically popup your remindered progs :)

    (not sure 'bout other brands)

    It is what it's.

Ok, the addin works when I right click and choose watch in win2k, can't find the setting for the reminder tho. What do I change to run win2k.exe as reminder?

In reminder (or a different marker made for the job) choose the "external program" option

    It is what it's.

Found it...'create a new marker' and run program.

    Thanx

I've used the trial version and found it pretty good, it's just a pity my Sky digibox and PC aren't in the same room!

I'm seriously thinking of getting the subscription for it though as €12 is very little for a whole years TV guide!

Plus I believe they're going to add European channels like RTL, Rai, etc? I think I heard this somewhere. If they do, I'll definitely get it! :)

just downloaded it. WOW. how good is that!

one i'll definately be paying for when my trial is up. couldn't recommend it more highly.

anyone who watches more than 'the odd bit' of telly shouldn't be without it.

PS sorry for bringing up an old post, but thought it would be worth it to spread the word a little bit in case anyone else missed this little gem.

When you're silently engrossed in surfing/ or whatever takes your fancy, it can indeed be heart-attack enducing. I still haven't found out how to turn the sound off (not that I've bothered anyhow).
