    What with all the fuss about Martin Johnsons disrespect
    to the Prez, its not been mentioned that it took nearly a quarter of a bloody hour to get from the tunnel to the actual kick off! I was bored silly, if it had been a lesser game I might well of flicked-over and forgot to come back...

    Is'nt it time to drop the anthems (at least one of them!), the glad-handing etc and just get on with it?

    Or it just me....?

    I have to say I missed the first few minutes of the game so I don't know what happened with MJ and Mrs. Mc.

    You're right though, all this protocol s**t would just piss you off especially with the rugby cos Ireland has two songs to sing.
    I useed to dread when Schumacher won a race cos that german anthem is soooo long. And then you have the constructor's anthem as well. A bit over board in my opinion, especially in a rugby match cos the atmosphere of the crowd can become a bit subdued as a result.

    Nobody minds the anthems but its all the dignitaries saying hello to every single player and thinking they have to get a quick chat in.

    Don't see much of a solution though. Singing of the anthems really gets the crowd going and then its kinda rude not to play the other teams anthem as well.
