I have a friend of mine coming over from Asia. We are going to Mainland Europe (Schengen Visa is already issued), and now we are thinking about going to the UK for a few days. Is the Irish Tourist Visa (already issued) valid for the UK as well. I think I read it somehwere, but can't find it anymore.

    Cheers,

    Daniel

An Irish Visa will not suffice for the UK.

It depends what nationality your friend is if he needs a visa to enter the UK.

Citizens of Thailand and China require a visa but citizens of Malaysia and Singapore do not.
