plc in portfolio preparation

    is there anywhere i can get a list of all the post-leaving cert courses in ireland run on portfolio preparation for art college? and some sort of rating maybe too? i know one or two but wanna look into the matter properly

    I would've said that your career guidance counsellor was the best bet. When I was at school our's had software on her comp that let you search all the courses in all the colleges.

    Did you try your Art teacher?

    It really depends on what area you plan on going into afterwards, Graphic Design, Fashion, Make Up, Fine Art or whatever. Even tho they all have a very broad list of subjects most do aim towards one pacific area of art & design.

    Ballyfermot runs about 4 different 1 year Portfolio prep courses, all are pretty good. Just dont expect any college athmosphere down there. I've a friend doing one aimed towards fashion design in Coláiste Íde, she says its pretty good.

    Your probobly better off researching them up online yourself. Get those googling skillz out :)
