fairy tale stories being changed

    Why is it that Stories that for Generations have to be changed to suit the presant Generation....
    For example
    We all know Noddy in Toy Town wasnt gay... But the book was changed as it refered to him as Sleeping with Big ears..

    We cant refer to Snow White And the seven Dwarfs...... its now Snow White and the seven little people, as we cant refer to small people as dwarfs..
    Was she a Tart as she shared the house with 7 men?
    Why was Grumpy Grumpy ?

    What other stories will be changed.....

    Well this is the case with many fables.

    Originally Sleeping Beauty was dead. She was then found by a prince and he had sex with her and actually had children (yes, while being 'dead'). These children popped out and sucked on her breasts until one day they sucked on the splinter (on her finger) that caused her to die (or sleep) and she awoke. Coincidentally the prince came along and found her with her lovely kiddies and married her. (well actually he didn't first, he was already married see, his wife attempted to kill the mistress and kids but that would be telling you the whole story.)

    Also in Cinderella - the ugly sister's actually chopped off bits of their feet to fit the (massive platform) shoe. The prince only realised when birds showed him the trail of blood behind him.

    If it is true what you say then it is a sign of the times. Kinda like chinese whispers I guess.
