Well the team O' Sullivan reckons can do the job and win the Grand Slam has been named.

IRELAND XV: Murphy; Bishop, O'Driscoll, Maggs, Hickie; Humphreys, Stringer; Horan, Byrne, Hayes; Longwell, O'Kelly; Costello, Gleeson, Foley.

Reserves: Sheahan, Fitzpatrick, O'Connell, Quinlan; G Easterby, O'Gara, Dempsey.

Have to say Im disappointed that Dempsey is not starting but more disappointed that O' Gara isn't. Would have liked to see Murphy replace Bishop on the wing and O' Gara stand in at outhalf but it wasn't to be.

Maybe O' Sullivan has made the right decision because he has named the "in form" team.

i agree as well that dempsey should really be played and probably o gara (i still think thats a hard call) but as u said you got to play the guys on form and anyway if humphreys or bishop are not playing well they can be substituted.

still i really think that we will miss the claw and mick galawy as guys who really live for these big games

i can see the pack might be a weakness, i hope that o sullivan and ford are training them hard, especially the back row on first time tackles

    ANYWAY COME ON IRELAND!!!!!!!;) ;);)

I think enoguh has been said bout the o gara V humphries battle for that spot but jaysus dempsy should be in for bishop.

But as has been said we are not the people who pick the team altough wonder what George Hook will say about this.

no matter what the team we shall support them to 110% our best

    C'MON IRELAND

I hope that because Humphries is picked that doesnt mean he'll be kicking a lot. Kicking to England and the likes of Robinson on the wing is just insane.

Also I think Costello, Foley and Glesson is a great backrow, what we need to work on is the 1st 3's scrummaging.

to be honest this Ireland team has looked more dangerous when they are defending than when they are attacking. the prospect of the ball being kicked back to the current English backs is very scary but it does look to be the way the game will be played.

The English back three aren't the best of kickers so aslong as we kick behind them and put pressure on them they'll will be forced to either run into 3 oncoming Irishmen or kikc into touch and give us possession. Are set pieces have been great lately (except scrum in Wales match)

Hmm... so aslong as Humphries kicks behind them, which he is more the capable of doing, then I think some kicking will be fine.

In all fairness - Irelands kicking game suits perfectly. We have arguably the best line-out form in the world atm. So to kick into their 22 and have a good chance at winning the lineout is well worth it and that is playing a big role in the great form we're having recently.

And with the english game that will be vital. Any penalties given reasonably within our own half is going to be 3 points for England. Johnny Wilkinson will be hoping to knock them over time and time again. And the guy is a fncking machine.

If anything I would have said take bishop off because I haven't seen him do anything worth noticing yet. He is an obvious weak link in the backs. But O'Sullivan obviously knows something I don't.

I would have loved to seen O'Gara on as an extra kicker because I just think that if England are let into their own half at all the game is lost.

Although with the crowd support and lashings of "Irish Pride" I think we should be able to beat Johnny Wilkinson. I mean England.
