Probably been posted before, but page 2 wont open for me.

I want to sort out my CDs (data) by creating an image of it's contents on my HD that can be searched. So, say I want a patch that I know I downloaded and put on to CD with 500 other files, I can run a search in the HD image and find the file and it will tell me which CD it is on.

    Anyone got any ideas?

the directory contents to text thread was what I was doing before, but there has to be a better way.
