Go to Control panel then open up Users and passwords

After that click on the advanced tab

double click on your login id you use to login to 2000

theres is a check box there "Password never expires" make sure its ticked

if your administrator set up so it has to expire after so long , you are going to have to change it , although some times they don't turn password history on so just change it to something else then change it back to your "normal" password. although most companys have it set up so u have to change it for security issues

oops should have mentioned that...you can only do it if your administrator of the domain!!!

or if you are using a local machine login
