Haven't heard much about it, just that it will be a big budget movie and Colin Farrel is lined up to play the lead role.
Think Oliver Stone will direct it.

Actually, theres two Troy films on the way. One has Oliver Stone directing Collin Farrel; the other is Wolfgang Peterson directing Brad Pitt. (or that could be Luc Besson directing Pitt... not too sure).

Remains to be seen I suppose whether or not they'll both get made, but I'd say either team could make a good film of it.
