    I'm doing this little survey about art for a college project. It doesn't matter if you think you know nothing about art (in fact that's probably a good thing). If you want to fill in the survey it'd be a great help to me:

    thanks

    Please don't move this to the art board becasue I'm trying to get people not usually interested in art to take the survey.

    You need to fix up your radio buttons on your yes and no questions... Its possible to select both yes and no...

    Done.

    In answer to your question, I think you give the radio buttons the same name, i.e. change this:
    <p>Was it an exhibition by a living artist ? yes
        <input type="radio" name="yesliving" value="yesliving">
        no
        <input type="radio" name="noliving" value="noliving">

    to something like this:
    <p>Was it an exhibition by a living artist ? yes
        <input type="radio" name="living" value="yesliving">
        no
        <input type="radio" name="living" value="noliving">

    I'm an art student and I'm researching why art is so unpopular with the general public compared with music, films, books etc. I'm looking at people's attitudes to art and galleries, stereotypes about "creative" people, mass media's depiction of artists and stuff like that.

    In part because we are drawn to multi-sensory media, but when you think about it a potrait is one picture, a film might be 100,000 - 200,000 pictures. Books are also much easier to carry around and take more time to go through.

    Many artists use video in their work. To be honest I think the time it takes to read a book is a factor that puts people off books more than encouraging them to read. I think it's much more complicated than that.
