Hello recently noticed some flickering on the start menu when it is opened and also for example on the menu you get when you right click on the desktop, my monitor is set at a refresh rate of 85Hz (the highest it goes) and i recently upgraded to nvidia's latest driver 41.09 anyone know what the problem is? is it the driver which is not digitally signed?

    cheers

Could be one of 4 things.

    1. Nvidia refresh rate bug www.guru3d.com go to downlaods and get a fix.
    2. Monitor may say it can handle 85 but really cant.
    3. get 42.42 drivers they out on nvidia main site (43.43 if your feeling brave on guru3d
    4. monitor is dirty or you blink a lot :D

monitor is dirty :) but don't think it is the problem, the flickering seems to stop after a bit, i might lower the refresh rate and check the drivers

    many thanks
