YET ANOTHER IMPORTANT QUAKE 2 SERVER ANNOUNCEMENT

    We are now using the PureDM mod on the quake.ie Q2 servers.

    The mod is now on q2war1.quake.ie, q2ffa1.quake.ie. Also testing a new Q2 one on one server at duel1.quake.ie (soon to be q2duel1.quake.ie if all goes well).

    This mod has a number of advantages:

    1. An enhanced hud which shows ammo inventory, rank and time remaining (ala Q1). To change the state of the hud, type "hud" at the console or "bind h hud".

    2. To vote for a new level, type "vote q2dm3" or "bind v vote".

    Visible weapons are also built into the mod, however I have not enabled this yet - let me know if you want it so.

    To use transparent icons in the hud, get this file:
