Has anyone ever played infogrammes GP 500? It's a very realistic motorbike simulation. I got it about a year ago and I swear to God, just doing 1 lap without falling off is hard. And I drive a bike (in reality mind you. Does that count?).

    Yrp tis agood sim.
Some call it the GPL of bike games.
You have to brake properly unlike Moto gp which u just slam brakes and corner.
GP 500 is very good with a good pad and its cheap now bout 10 yoyos ive seen it for.

I use a Sidewinder pad. How long did it take you to get reasonable at it? (I cant even qualify for better that last place). :(

I would say a month or two.I havent played in over a year but i do remember AI being very fast and getting a top six finish was a big achievement.

Yep, that's pretty good. I remember concentrating on one track in particular. I made notes about what way the next turn was and what the best gear was.
That helped a lot. Still couldn't qualify though. :) I'll have to resist the urge to install it until the exams are over.

    Cheers,
