Hiya, how do I find out what software version my phone is, and how would I upgrade it? My handset seems to crash some-times, especially when using the WAP browser so I'm wondering if theres an upgrade I can install. :)

Also, I've only had it a couple of weeks and already there's some dust under the screen! argh! How do I get rid of this?

    Teeth.

The dust problem is really annoying . I'm on my 3rd one in as many months. O2 have exchanged it each time I've gone back although I think you have to be in their 30 day refund policy.
The one I have at the moment is dusty.

type in *#0000# for the version number

for upgrades you can contact the mobile phone repair company 01 2149000

haven't found anywhere in dublin city centre that will do over the counter upgrades yet, special tools are required to open the 7650 to preform the upgrade (it's not just a plug in a cable and flash procedure unfortunately)

    My phone is:

    V 4.37
    24-10-02
    NHL-2NA

Is this old, is there anywhere I can go to see what they fix in each version?

You need one of these jigs to crack open the body of the phone to allow the flasher access to the circuitry. Although it is theoritically possible to jimmy-rig the opening of a 7650 using strong pins or something similar, I wouldn't waste a few hundred €uro trying to find out ;)

The latest version is 4.39, as of 30-10-02 & don't remember there being any huge fixes. Other than trying the Nokia site or Googling it, I don't know where'd you'd find an official list of update fixes.
