    each time i start up my pc i get to the part where i enter my password and my floppy drive makes a weird sound like it looking for something............ im using xp. and its a normal floppy drive. Can anyone Help me ?

    Its probably ur pc searching for new floppy disk drives at startup or something. Im sure theres an option in Windows XP to stop that.

    Clear Floppy seek on Startup in bios, should sort it out .
