    Can people not include the ">>>>> > >>>" bit when they post jokes that they have copied from an e-mail? Can this be added to the rules?

    It's annoying alright, but if it bothers you *that* much, just copy and paste the contents of the email into wordpad, then just go to Edit -> Replace and select replace ">" with "" (the double quote representing a blank character - not a space).

    I agree that people can do this as well before they post the joke, but I would just consider it good ettiquete to do so, rather than a requirement.
