NT into win 98

    Hi,
    I'm going to format a HD with win NT4,

    can you install win 98 afterwards?

    Yes, just dont use the NTFS file system when formatting.
    Choose FAT instead.

    alternatively u could combine NT and 98 and get 2000 ;)

    Were you planning on dual booting NT and 98? If so you will need to install 98 before NT so NT can add it into the boot.ini... otherwise you would need to configure your own boot loader.

    I just wanted the HD wiped & 98 put on it, as one of my fellow workers is brought the PC home, good ole Thomas the tank doesn't run on win NT..... ;)
