Theres some games I can run in Dosmame but wont run in mame32

I cant get sound or my gamepad running in Dosmame so using this isn't an option.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to get these games working ?

What are the games? Check your roms have to correct name etc with a rom checker

In order to get sound and joypads working in DOSMame you need to add switchs on the command line ie. -s I cant remember as it's been an age since I've used it. *google:)

As for the romsets I'm positive they are correct as I download them from a very reliable source

Are the versions of DOSMAME and MAME32 the same ?

I have both the latest versions 0.65

What's the exact error ?

Is it missing some of the ROM sets or it it something different ?

Can you cut and paste the error in here ?

Sorry was just reading over my 1st post it's not that I get an error running them it's more that there slow as fcuk. but run full speed under Dos.

Ahh......

The problem is the Sound Emulation - uses a lot of CPU.
So when you run without sound in DOS MAME it will run a lot faster than MAME32 with sound. If you get sound working in DOS MAME you'll be back to the same speed (approx) as MAME32
