Yes, watching series one has been interesting on TG4. I am finding it funny, the conflict between Beecher and Schillinger has got so funny, after Beacher ****ting in Vern's mouth infront of everyone you can see why he doesnt like him too much

Its fun seeing the riot. Though it has yet to start you know its being built up. Having the shakedown removed everyones weapons but the muslims are getting in guns from that new hack :eek: . Cant wait till next week, hopefully we will have the riot then, or soon. I can remember them all in series 5 and 6 talking about the riot and now we will see it and know what was going down.

Also, poor Dino, Ryan O'Reily is feeding him glass. How did he not notice the crunch though

I got to see the first couple which I'd never seen, so now I've seen them all except the last few of the season that was last on. What was that 6?
The riot is cool alright, it's also the end of season 1 iirc.

i've been watching it and it is excellent. that scene at the end with the **** was a bit disturbing yet funny at the same time he deserves it

Wasn't it ground down to the size of salt granules leaving it undetectable?

Anyway. TVtome have a nice concise epguide and on the subject why does season 4 have twice as many eps as the other seasons. Also why do they only make 8 eps per year? That's pretty scabby even for HBO.

Its actually Nino who is being fed glass-Dino was burnt to death in the first episode;)
The sh1t litearally has hit the fan with Schillinger and Beecher.I presume this will be the start of the whole feud which untimately seems to claim the lives of anybody except the two instigators.
Its funny that in the early episodes when an inmate is murdered it is a huge crisis-everybody is worried of losing their jobs etc etc.Whereas these days in newer seasons somebodys murdered and the staff barely care.
Pigman-Adebisi died in season 4 and the next episode was set a few months after his death.Season 4 was broadcast in 2 halves I think.Personally I thought it lost something after his death-he had really become one of the main guys in it.
I was surpirsed at the amount of respect Beecher now has among the tough guys like Adebisi,Wangler,Alvarez in there.In later seasons O`Reilly seems to be the only one he hangs around with.
As for Ninos bleeding attack I think death would be alot more gradual than that in real life.But then again when watching Oz you have to accept that reality takes a back seat.At least one,usually unsolved,murder in every episode.People tried and executed within a matter of days.
But what odds its a great show.

Any signs of Oz being released on DVD anytime soon? I find it to be a very rewatchable show.

I must say the riot was good though might have been better. Said had planned it well, expecially at the arch. He knew what would happen

Just how graphic are the rape scenes? I have heard great things about OZ but I am quite squeemish on the subject of rape, be it male or female.

From what I've seen (through flashbacks and real events in the show) it isn't graphic at all. You see nothing (well, no pink), though you are left in no doubt towards what happened.

Yeah dont worry they show very little in reality-you might see a guy being pinned down and then you would hear him scream but thankfully you are seldom given a full view of it.
As for the other night it shows Said has changed alot over the years.These days he would never do something like using innocent human shields.He was even disapproving of Beecher killing Schillingers son and was cautious even when Schillinger had a muslim killed.

It still can be very graphic in places. Im thinking of the scene with the eyes in season 4 or 5 here. Not bloody, but funking disturbing.

the old series is good apart from beechers sudden change from lawyer to Bad ass which in my opinion sux! happened too fast! then he goes on to bite some dudes Knob off. Think the OZ Writers have some personal issues goin on!! :rolleyes:
