Why do people think of this card

a 128mb radeon 9100 (more or less rebadged 8500) on special from komplett this week for 99 bills

also a 64mb version available for about 84 quid.

benchmarks i've seen seem to put it in league with the 8500, maybe a bit better then 9000 and better then all the geforce 4mx's. its also meant to overclock real nice.

Quigs Snr

Dunno bout the 9100, but I have a 64mb 8500LE in one of my secondary gaming machines (with an Athlon 1200 and 256MB PC133 ram) and it sails through any game out at the moment, even unreal 2. Nice card and ATI's image quality always seems nicer to me.

yeah i thought it looked nice alright but then i saw the 128mb one is running at 250/200 and the 64mb one at 250/230 which i think is slower then the 8500's and the 9100's theoretically.
