I'm building a game for work to use on their site and im looking for some user testing.
The main game and playable elements are there.
Yet to be done is sound, imagery and database scoreboard.
    So how does it play?
    Suggestions?

I don't think parts of the angle should go out of the play area.
The play area should be a tad bigger?
I didn't get any sound. Is this a bug? Really needs sound.
Its very purple. A splash of another colour would be nice.
Other than that its amusing for 1-2mins.

    Very orisinal, ho ho! :D

    Yea, really needs sound.
Play area needs to be bigger.
Need to be able to catch the stars at the top of the play area too.
It'd be nice if the movement was 'softer'
Also, there needs to be some indicator of which level you've picked.

Looks promising though, will be nice to see the final version.

    Good luck,

I was thinking that the stars at the top were teasing and could lead people on wild goose chases and get into trouble making the game a little more challenging. But it seems to annoy most people so ill probably change it.

Colour is to fit with the companys website colours http://www.angel.ie (which im not responsible for)

Likewise the playing area needs to fit in the design. I may do a larger version for myself :)

but that could lead to more problems with smooth movement.
P: what spec machine are you playing the game on?
it runs lovely on my lowly 500mhz p3 at home. Macs here in work have some issues when viewed through a web browser.

    Level indicator, CHECK.

    original indeed, well done!

you could always have the point of control(or whatever you call it) on the net itself as opposed to in the center of the character and that way you would be able to collect the stars at the top.
or you could have a smaller angel and a bigger net!

what amount of points do you need to to get to the next level?
    is there another level?

the fact that there is no sound doesnt really bother me but it would be better if it had some.

also is there any "reward" for getting a certain score? even a high score record?

    that is all.

Not being able to get any stars at the top is annoying. Maybe include a banner area at the top where no stars come along but u can still put the angel up there.. or something.

The stars are pretty hard to distinguish from each other aswell.

    .logic.

When I meant smooth, I just meant the angel is just stuck to the cursor.

If you gave it a slight, soft delay like:

I think that would make the movement seem a little more natural.
