Quite a few suggestions on this thread ..... http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74055&highlight=paris

Have fun in Paris, its an excellent spot. My only suggestion would be to make sure you have a pair of comfy walking shoes. You'll be doing a lot of it :)

i was there 2 weeks ago.

    firstly -
    what budget?
    what ages are you?
what sort of food do you like?
what are you interested in? art? shopping? fashion?

Have booked hotel already, so the remaining budget would be around €120 - €150 a night, we are both 26 and like indian, mexiacan, thai, basically anything with a bit of a kick to it.
We wouldnt be overly interested in art, but if it was worth seeing we would certainly be up for it, as for shopping, not really into this, possibily having alook through markets etc would be intersted in a cruise on the seine if you could point us in the right direction..hope this gives you an idea of what we are looking for :D

the moulan rouge is meant to be very good for an evening - but very expensive - c140e for dinner and the show.

we went to a great thai place - *searches wallet for details* - and they are in work - i'll find them monday

there are dozens of sushi places between opera and the lourve - very reasonable too - circa 18e for 3 courses and of better quality that irish sushi.

there is an excellent italian place - tradition sicilian food - and also very reasonble (13e for buffet starter and choice of pasta dish) - fantastic quality!!! its on Rue Moliere again near the lourve.
the name escapes me again - but its about number 30 and is white and on the corner
