Preordering SWG

    Has anyone else preordered SWG?
    As there isnt a european release date yet and initial copies of the game are going to be limited so the servers dont get swamped, it might be a good idea to preorder from a US game site. EBworld and Amazon wouldn't deliver to Ireland, but Gamespot do. Anybody know of other sites that do?

    release dtae is 15th of april if i remember correctly.... or is it march?

    US release date is 15th April - no official European release date given yet, but @ amazon.co.uk it said it would be available 5th September (subject to change of course).
    Can't risk having to wait an extra 5 months for this game, so I preordered it @ gamespot :D

    on release all the servers will be in the US.

    from the FAQ at the official site...

    1.10 Will there be servers outside of the United States?

    We are talking to several ISP partners in Asia and Europe. Our current thoughts are to have servers located in different parts of the world. It is too early to give you exact locations. We are going to localize our game into different languages. We have not decided which languages to release with. You will be able to play on any of the servers, regardless of where they are located.
