In particular, any good bream or tench spots?

Well theres a canal really close to my gaff can't remember which one is it i think its the royal, but anyway there wasn't any fishing allowed for awhile back due to foot and mouth and it was stocked up in that period, so id say the fishing would be good about now..

Caught meself a couple of nice sized tench last summer

For Breem, Sallins. (or at least i think it is Sallins)

You park near he bridge and on one side of it there is all boats and barges and on the other side there is some factory. walk down the side of the bridge with the factory and on the opposite side to it. After about 200 yards the canal turns at an 80 degree angle and on the bend there is a bank of stones. Set yourself up here at the turn.

Dems some good fishin hole ya hear!
