Still don't have new EPG

Is there anyone else out there who still does not have the new EPG? My Silver Grundig has still got the old software and no matter how many forced downloads I do it still has it.

If you still have not got the new EPG I think that you should give Sky a shout and see what the delay is. I have the Silver Grundig and I have had the new EPG for three weeks now.

I have the PACE (it looks silver to me) and I don't have the Personal Planner, but to be honest I don't care too much as I only got the box a week ago and it is nice to have something.

Black Grundig here...still no new EPG - despite numerous reboots and manual downloads

I rang Sky last week and was told that all silver grundigs have not had the new EPG downloaded yet. This sounded like a bit of a fob-off to me as I have seen posts on this site from people with the same box having the new EPF.

I've a Pace 2500 without the new EPG. AFAIK, the rollout of the new EPG has stopped until the bugs are fixed. I, for one am happy enough with my reliable old EPG. Will gladly accept new EPG whenever they make it reliable.

my lovely black Grundig still has the old EPG. looking at the new EPG at my next door neighbours i didnt like the dark blue. the same colour scheme and a personal planner would be fab

After numerous attempts over the last month or so of doing forced upgrades I did it again today, and hey presto the NEW EPG is downloaded. Hooray!!

My good old Pace from 1st October 1998 had the new EPG Personal Planner weeks ago. Still dose not cover the 160 pounds I paid!

Ye, I think the Pace boxes got the EPG first and us Grundig users were left waiting. While they sorted out any problems. Whats the new EPG like, reliability wise, is it stable?

My Pace still doesn't have the new EPG (Electronic Programme Guide). Sky Customer Services reckon that they expect to have all digiboxes updated by the end of June. I just hope the version they are now sending is a fixed version coz I for one don't want my box to act erratic and continually crash out and power down.

Wahey! Did a manual update on my Black Grundig box there at 8.20pm tonight & I now (FINALLY! ) have the new EPG/Personal Planner.

Did a forced update on my Pace yesterday and voila, the new PP has arrived. No noticable problems yet. I think that this version is a fixed version.

I was flicking through my TV listings yesterday when I noticed something flashing on the screen with personal planer on it, when I checked my TV guide still only had options 1-9.After a forced download presto it was there it looks good have to try it out yet. I have a sliver pace.

For anyone with probs with the new EPG....

check the version...mine is:

Operating System: 1.2S4Ba
EPG S/W version: 2.7bb.5*
Black Grundig Box

...and seems to be fine so far (maybe you have an older version?). If so, try a manual/forced upgrade as from what I've been reading a lot of people seem to have gotten the EPG this weekend.

At last, a forced download has updated the EPG on my silver Grundig. The box has hung for the first time since I got it 8 months ago, I hope this is not going to be a frequent thing.
