Urgent Help Win 98 error

    Ok I am getting the following error

    Invalid System Disk
    Replace thr dsik and press any key

    I can see the disk in the BIOS also If I boot up using a win98 boot disk I can access all the files

    Using FDISK the partition is set active

    I have run Fdisk /mbr

    Still no joy anyone got an ideas?

    next step:
    check the hard disk and boot sector for any viruses
