ISDN Wiring

How many wires are required to carry ISDN signals. I have seen some boxes
that seem to have 6 cores going into them and I am currently trying to
repair one that has only one pair of wires(2 cores) going into it. The fault
I am getting is no carrier but eircom swear the line is working and eircom
net say my configuration is correct. Can some knowledgeable person look at
this log file and tell me where my problem is?
    Thanks
    J Armstrong

Did you try plugging a phone into one of the analog ports to see if you can dial out?
    Are both lights on?
Failing that, I noticed someone (on the forsale board I think) giving away an Eircom Highspeed box last week(ish).

BTW, I'd hardly describe ISDN as broadband.
