    I'm still chuckling over this.

I was watching TV3 I think it was, Groundhog day the film was on. Half way through the film an advert for chocolate comes on and at the end of the ad it flipped back to the beginning of the ad again. This advert repeated itself about 7 times! lol

It must have been a prank by an angry worker or a jape by a TV exec surely!

    Did anyone else notice this?

Was thinking of ranting about this, christ it was annoying. I will never ever buy a bar of dairy milk after seeing that stupid add.

I saw it myself. I thought it was class.

They did it a while ago, back 3 years ago and during every ad break they had had 3 Biddy Byrne's (Thet one from Glenroe) advertising Persil.

But that Dairy Milk song is in my head now. Nooooooooooo!

After the third time, I thought "wow... this is a long ad... I wonder what the punchline is?". After the 6th showing, I realised it was a screwup. :)

Pretty ironic screwup, considering the movie being shown!

Oh yes, my Granny told me for years about the tradition of the groundhog, or any animal who sees their shadow on Candlemas Day.

I love the name of the actual place in Punxsutawney where Phil makes his prediction.

    Gobbler's Knob.

    :D

Started in Germany with a hedgehog. When people moved to Pennsylvania they figured a groundhog was the next best thing - and probably smart (should that be dumb?) enough to be afraid of its own shadow. The tradition dates from about 1886. It's probably all there on he official groundhog site (there's a link from the Yahoo story)
