FHM Magazine recently published their annual list of the 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2002 as voted on by their readers. The poll offers a fascinating insight into the popularity of tattoos among female celebrities. A quick look at the Top 100 list reveals that one of the things that many of the women picked have in common is body art, i.e. tattoos!

I hate tatoos, I hate all body "art" such as rings and other bits and pieces. If I discovered my girl had a tatoo she'd have to have a very good explaination!

I've noticed recently that a lot of women seem to be getting tatoos near the bottom of their spines, a few inches up above the coccyx.

"Mike, its my body"..argument over and women win over the stoopid boys once again.

    Itallian and artistic.

PS: when you say "girl" is that a reference to your daughter?

No I meant girl as in woman, sorry!
    Me not PC.
That said if I had a daughter and she came home with a tattoo, I'd, I'd, I'd...proberly have to learn to live with it!

And by "my" girl do you mean she is your property? Because your attitude implies she is.

And trust Murdi there to post it ;)

On the topic all the same I'd rather not. Interestingly enough 63 of them dont have tattoos, so I'd say that it would be the minority with their skin art..

One third is a minority but its still a big minority. Did that just make sense ....

    82. Aaliyah

    WTF?

By that reckoning, can I vote for Ingrid Bergman in 1945 then (seeing as she's dead too)?

(the way she puts her glasses on and takes them off in Spellbound just drives me nuts (in the excited sense))

I remember seeing a documentary on tatoo's, they had an explination for the one just above the coccyx but i cant remember it.

It's not really that sexy, and a little too common.

HeHe, I'm supposed to have a tatoo on my wrist, but I never decided on teh proper font, and considering that its there for the rest of your life, its not summin u wanna get wrong.

    as Ozzy once said
"If you want to be original then dont get a tatoo!"

Aaliyah was alive in 2002, that's why she qualifies.

Wtf is Chyna doing there? It may be 99th position but still.
I take it that it's FHM America, as there's no Rachel Stevens and Holly Valance in there.
