ToolTip being overlapped by task bar

    It's a minor issue, but the tool tips in my 'quick launch' toolbar on the taskbar are being overlapped by the taskbar itself - i.e.: the tooltips are appearing behind the taskbar, so some of the text doesn't appear at all.

    Makes no difference whether the taskbar is locked or not...

    Anyone know why this happens or how it can be fixed?

    Right click -> Properties -> uncheck "Keep taskbar on top of other windows".

    That's not quite what I wanted... I don't want other windows going behind the taskbar too.

    No matter, it seems to have sorted itself out somehow.

    *shrug*
