    Hello all,
I'm thinking about buying this MP3/USB pen drive (http://www.pc-memory-upgrade.co.uk/memory/mp3-player-usb.asp) and was wondering has anybody else bought it? If not, from the spec what do people think about it, goo, bad, any feedback is greatly appreciated? Has anybody got experience with using USB pen drives, r they as good as they seem?

I don't want to rush out and get it until I find a review or get people's opinions on this. As far as I know its pretty new and reviews are very hard to find on the Net. Its gonna server a dual purpose for me cause I have loads of MP3's but also want something that is easy to move data around, unlike an external zip drive.

    Thanx

don't know about the one you just posted, but the Creative MuVo would be good for your needs (Creative MuvO on komplett ), or else the Kiiro CA-128, which you can find on amazon.co.uk

I have a number of Disgo USB Drives and find them VERY handy.

I have noticed some problems with them.
Every so often they seem to corrupt.

It might if they are unplugged with out being stopped or if the computer goes down hard (power failure)

This might be just limited to Disgos - I dont know for certain.

Cheers for that, the Creative one looks good but is only available in 64MB I think? I would want at least 128MB

If the Disgo drives get corrupted is there any way to re-format them again?

I say check it out. You might be able to get a 256MB card for it :)

I reckon that mp3 player would be a good buy (if u're going to use it)
otherwise Komplett have a 256mb usb pen drive for €89 in their specials section this week(no mp3 player), u should be get it delievered for ~€100. not too shabby. I got the 128mb version a couple o' weeks ago, no probs so far except u need a driver for win98. From 2000 onward it works no probs.
Don't get sucked into buying the 64mb mp3 player(i think they have that on special too)

Yes - there's no problem formatting them again - just a little pizzing off if you have some inportant data on them...

Sounds good although I would not like to lose data if at all possible! Just have to make sure it is backed up! Did u see the 256MB pen drive on Komplett.ie? Seems to be very good value.
