New Apple Displays & new prices

    New 20" model @ €1,693 inc. vat

    Other prices are slashed, though not yet showing up on the irelandstore.... (edit) they are now

    23" from €5,200 -> €2,660
    22" was €3,507 now seems to be chopped
    20" new @ €1,693
    17" from €1,390 -> €846

    Also new powermacs will start at €1,800.... from 1GHz to dual 1.25's and new 1.42's

    That's a large price-drop - the low-end Powermac is now almost 500 Euro cheaper than it was yesterday - though apps that can use both processors would have been faster on the old dual-867.

    Still, it's nice that it's possible to get an expandable Mac without a display welded to it for so much less.

    That's the professional range - Powermacs and Powerbooks - recently updated. Hopefully the iBook might be next...

    Well that fecks my re-sale value looks like i am stuck with the worlds heaviest machine for at least 4 more years. Griping aside i am hearing strange rumors about Apple dropping the Titanium Design because they are causing to many headaches with returns mainly on the paint work. Anyone more info?

    By titanium do you mean the powerbook? If so then yes, the new 12inch and 17inch powerbooks have alluminium cases, and the revamped 15inch will have the same type of case also.

    Yep thats the one! Just interested in what they intendtodo with theolder ones they have in stock. Where do they run out there product lines? Might pick upsome cheapy?
