Ok I understand that Spider DID mistakenly kill his real mother at end but what was it that was making him think that the blonde tart (and other women) all looked like his mother. There seemed to be nothing that triggered his dilusions for what I could tell, or were we just supposed…

What the HELL was going on in that film?

Ok I understand that Spider DID mistakenly kill his real mother at end but what was it that was making him think that the blonde tart (and other women) all looked like his mother. There seemed to be nothing that triggered his dilusions for what I could tell, or were we just supposed to know that he was nuts all along (even as a kid)?

Any explainations please?

I have'nt seen the film (thanks for ruining the ending! )
but its a Cronenberg movie so you have to draw your own conclusions, if you want your mind made up for you stick to
Bruckheimer-Simpson type dross.

Then I wish he'd just stick to making Sci-Fi. Stuff like this and Crash (explaination or not) are pure over-rated crap IMHO.
