Don't know if anyone saw this (and maybe this is not where it should be posted, but anyway).

Proposed law raises controversy over freedom of expression on
    internet message boards (Helsingin Sanomat)
The proposed law correlates message boards on web sites with the letters to the editor pages of newspapers.

Well it directly affects the administration of this site but unfortunately... the dracconian laws they are proposing are already in force in Ireland and have been for some time.

Boards.ie is responsible for what is said here legal afaik... thats why we made it a limited company and why we take such efforts to moderate as much as possible without getting into pre-moderation.
The proposed new law would mean that internet publications would be required to examine messages sent to their message boards in advance.
Large portals feel that this would be an overwhelming task both physically and financially, because they get thousands of messages each day.

    Amateurs! :)

We get enough posts now that to consider each one for a minute (only) would take nearly 24 hours now.

We'd need 3 people full time reading and publishing and there would be a delay factor of up to 16 hours.

    DeV.
